Each review is accompanied by a Box Score, which rates the show in six categories, usually Writing, Directing, Acting, Set, Costumes, and Lighting/Sound. Each category gets a score of 0, 1, or 2 -- meaning, respectively, not much; either solid or a mixture of appalling and brilliant; or outstanding. There are no half-scores.
